Achim Schneider has been Managing Partner of retailsolutions since February 2026. In this role, he is responsible for the global strategic development of the company with a clear focus on sustainable customer benefits, long-term customer relationships and innovative SAP-based solutions along the entire value chain in retail.

This is based on his 27 years at SAP, the last ten of which he spent as Global Head of the SAP Retail Business Unit, where he gained extensive international experience in consulting, product strategy, solution management and global go-to-market activities. As Global Vice President of the SAP Retail Industry Business Unit, Achim Schneider and his global team were responsible for the worldwide positioning and launch of the entire retail and fashion management portfolio, among other things. In addition, he managed complex transformation programmes at leading retail companies, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, China and Latin America.

As a leader, Achim Schneider is characterised by a deep understanding of his customers' strategic goals and challenges. He knows how to align SAP expertise and technological innovation with measurable business results and accompany companies through their digital transformation as a trusted partner.
